It is not primarily about stretching or strengthening the body, but about expanding awareness through physical practice.

What to expect from this practice?
In Kundalini Yoga, we stimulate the energy that flows through your spine and all the chakras. Each week we practice a new set, called a Kriya in Kundalini Yoga, which targets specific areas of the body but always addresses the body as a whole system.
After your first class, it's quite possible that you'll have an energetic high, because rhythmic exercises and strong breathing will get your body and your whole system really pumped up.
